JourneyPen Voice Letters
This offering is a recorded message, which you think of as a podcast made specifically for you, one you can listen to again and again—whenever you need a pep talk.
This option is intended for adults (eighteen or older), who have a question specific to them, their creativity and/or their astrology, and their life. If you are interested, please read on to learn more about this offering.
The Process
To help you know what to expect, here is what happens for every Voice Letter:
1) You purchase a JourneyPen Voice Letter through this website. The time slot that you book is when you’ll receive the offering. Since I take time to reflect on your question and weave together my thoughts, there’s a lead time of at least five days from the time I receive the completed questionnaire.
2) Upon purchase, you complete a questionnaire, which includes questions like, such as “What is your question*?” and “What is the situation you are facing which you would like my input on?”
3) After I receive the questionnaire, I review your responses, and then I reflect on them and your situation for a while.
4) Then I record an answer to your question. You can think of this as a spoken letter or a podcast episode made specifically for you. I often tell a story from my own experience, weaving together what I know to answer your question. Then I may suggest some practices, exercises, or questions which may have you help you with your own next step.
5) I send the voice letter your way—on or before the time slot represented by your booking.
6) You listen to it—once or as many times as feels nourishing to you. The voice letter belongs to you now.

FAQs
How many questions can I ask?
One. I will only answer one question at a time, even if you use the form to ask multiple questions. If you have several questions, perhaps one of the live 1:1 offerings are a better fit.
However, please feel free to make your question as long as complicated as you like. Sometimes it takes a while to communicate the entire situation.
Why are these letters recorded?
I record my voice for a very specific reason: one of the intentions behind the JourneyPen Project in general and this offering in particular is to help you feel less alone and more connected.
A voice speaking your name and talking directly to you connects to you much better than an email with your name at the top—we see those all the time in our inbox!
What if I have a hearing impediment? What do I do then?
Please let me know via the questionnaire that you require a text letter for me, and I will happily switch.
One of my uncles is deaf, so I completely understand that text is better for some individuals.
Is there an age limit for the JourneyPen Voice Letters?
Yes, you definitely need to be eighteen or older, and you’ll get the most out of the session if you have some experience under your belt.
If you’ve gotten to know Shelby Bach through The Ever Afters, and/or if you’re still a student, that’s fabulous. Please consider if this offering is right for you or if it would be better to attend one of the Community Q’s or to Submit a Question for her to answer.
