The Planetary Path

Here, you know what astrological challenge you face— a difficult natal aspect, a tricky transit, an eclipse on a sensitive natal planet, or something similar.

I facilitate a process where we reach back into your past and investigate past transits to make sense of how these planets have been showing up in your life.

This enables you to better navigate the challenges of your present. 

This offering includes two one-on-one sessions designed to help you investigate a certain astrological area.

I call it, “The Planetary Path.” 

Session 1:

In the first session, we investigate our initial understanding of what you’ve chosen to investigate.

Pathway:

After our session, I personalize a Pathway for you. This often includes dates of certain transits, so that you can see exactly how certain astrological elements are showing up in your life. After you finish your investigation, you send me a message about the fresh meaning you’ve made.

Session 2:

Then we schedule our second session, which focuses on how to integrate this in your life and strategize about how you can better navigate upcoming transits based on what you’ve learned.

  • The JourneyPen Voice Letters

    If you think you’ll want contact with Shelby between the two sessions and/or after the second session, you might consider purchasing a JourneyPen Voice Letter. This offering is a recorded message, which you think of as a podcast made specifically for you, one you can listen to again and again—whenever you need a pep talk. (Each recording is between 10 and 15 minutes long.)

  • The Process

    To help you know what to expect, here’s what happens with this offering:

    a) You book your first appointment through this website when you purchase the offering. To be clear, you will pay up front for the price of both sessions, but only the first one will show up in your calendar. We’ll book the second after you complete your personalized Pathway.

    b) I’ll send you a questionnaire regarding what you has been troubling you and what you are ready to unpack.

    c) You fill out this questionnaire at least 24 hours in advance of our appointment, which gives me time to review your astrological natal chart and prepare for our session.

    d) We meet together over Zoom.

    • You bring yourself and your willingness to go deep. I bring your natal chart and my initial thoughts based on your questionnaire, which we use as a jumping off point.

    • Unless you would prefer we didn’t, I record the session so that you can review + rewatch later. That way, you don’t feel like you need to take notes.

    e) After our session, I personalize a Pathway for you based on what we talked about in the first session. I send this to you, along with your natal chart, to support you in making your own meaning from whatever you’re ready to integrate.

    f) You can reach out to me via Whatsapp or Voxer for any follow-up questions as you complete the Pathway.

    g) After you finish the Pathway, you send me a message about what you learned. It can be an email or a voice memo, but I want to hear what fresh meaning you’ve made!

    h) Then we schedule our second session.

    i) During that session, based on the meaning you’ve made and the information we’ve gathered from the stars, we craft a path that walks you towards your dreams. 

    j) If you’ve chosen to buy a bracelet, necklace, and/or JourneyPen Voice letter as an add-on, I make one based on what we’ve discussed in our last session, and I send it to you.

  • Yes.

    - You must know your birth date, birth time, and birth place.

    - You must have an open mind about astrology (no experience with it with required though).

    - You must also be willing to spend some time completing the Pathway in order to more deeply investigate how certain aspects of astrology are showing up in your life.

    If you’re missing any of these ingredients, then this isn’t the best fit for you. You might explore other offerings at the JourneyPen Project.

  • I do offer a long-term mentorship version of this offering, but this usually develops organically from the shorter one-on-one offerings. That way, we’ll both already know if we’re a good fit for long-term work.

  • Yes, you definitely need to be eighteen or older.
